BHB Ladies Breakfast


Hutch said something to me yesterday that I never really put together but he said "you have so much baggage - you have "me", your mom and dad and your son".  

Life can be such a challenge but as I was walking today, our dear friends here in BHB, Gary and Gloria, called me in to their home.  Gloria planned the second breakfast at a nearby restaurant.  I missed the first one and signed up for the second but missed that one to (she has them set up once a month and it's for all the ladies of the community to get together).  Gloria said "you didn't make it for the breakfast?".  I told her how sorry I was but Hutch was in a bad way that morning and there are days when I can't leave him.  Of course, she totally understood but I still felt bad.  She said "I want you to know, that I set up these breakfasts for you - because I know how busy you are with your hubby - I want you to see you get out for just a bit and meet the ladies and have fun!"  What a wonderful woman! She is the sweetest, kindest person and I love her for that.  We are so blessed to be in this community with such great people!

But you know what?  Rather than dwell on the "baggage" I do have, look at all the blessings I have!! So much more that not!  I am so so so very thankful to God for my family, my dear friends and so much more. The people in your life make such a difference!
